These Indian River Michigan Family Portraits were taken in the Hildner-Bearce Nature Preserve, a Little Traverse Nature Conservancy protected area. You’ll find this spot just off Chippewa Beach Road. There are over 200 Little Traverse Nature Conservancies in the surrounding 5 counties that are open to the public. Whether you’re a native, or just passing through, Indian River Michigan is a great choice for your fall family portraits.

If you’ve never been to Northern Michigan in the fall, you need to add it to your bucket list! There are so many Fall Color Tour destinations within the tri-county area that you won’t be shorted on beautiful views. Although the Tunnel of Trees on M-119 in Harbor Springs Michigan is one of the most popular fall color destinations, many places are overlooked. Here in Indian River, for instance, we have access to the Inland Waterway greater area, and nearly 100,000 acres of Michigan State Forest Land.
