Northern Michigan Family Portraits

The end of August in Northern Michigan is a great time to visit. Not too cold, and not super hot, the weather is just right for everything. Avid hunters, fisherman, golfers, boaters, bikers, snowmobilers, and beach bums gather here every year to enjoy what Northern Michigan has to offer. Although this portrait session was taken during an overcast day, you can see there’s never a bad day on the lake! In the background is Mullett Lake, a destination spot for many families during the summer months. Come back in winter, and the lake will be covered with ice shanty’s and snowmobiles!

The Cooper Family, although spread from downstate to Chicago, enjoys their Northern Michigan cottage together every year. It was great to see 3 generations of family coming together in a beautiful place to create memories. Many families gather here to get the “Pure Michigan” experience every family wants their children to remember. From fishing off the dock to golfing on a nice summer day, it’s all possible in Northern Michigan.
