Petoskey Sunset Engagement

Waves crash into Petoskey’s Bayfront Park at sunset as Rachel & Jake celebrate their engagement on the shore of Lake Michigan.

We are so lucky to live near Petoskey where sunsets land perfectly within Little Traverse Bay.  Petoskey’s Bayfront Park is one of the most incredible spots for sunsets in Northern Michigan. Rachel and Jake braved the cold October wind during their Petoskey Sunset Engagement session- true Michiganders! We had to reschedule their session due to the impractical Michigan forecast, but it ended up being one of the best fall sunsets of the season. You don’t often get such a spectacular cloud cover that reflects all the sunset light, so I’m so glad they were able to pull off this session on a Monday night after working all day! Rachel & Jake got engaged in Canada on a bush-plane fishing trip. Jake definitely caught some keepers, but I’d say Rachel was his best catch yet!
