In Northern Michigan, fall is the most popular time to get your senior portraits taken. With graduation being in the spring, time is limited by weather. If you’re not a snow lover this only leaves a couple options. Either you take photos in the heat of the summer or you wait until the colors start to change. Jaimee, a Northern Michigan Senior Class of 2019 said, “I’m a fall girl.” Although pumpkin spice lattes and boots can convince most to enjoy fall, its easy to see why Northern Michigan Seniors like to take portraits in the fall. The weather is perfect for a variety of outfit options, and the colors are absolutely beautiful!

This year, the peak colors happened in mid-October. In Northern Michigan the peak is typically in early to mid-October. If you want to get the best colors in your Northern Michigan Senior Portrait Session, you have to hold out for the perfect time and weather.
